This Lioness is something special, she has a sister who cannot walk properly let alone run, she hunts on her sisters behalf and  has kept her well fed for four years.
Taken in Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda.

Beautiful lioness. More beautiful after reading the back story. I wish humans were as humane as this lioness.

Hi Ken,
Nice expression and heartwarming story. Are they part of a pride? Do others help?

Hisham.

Wonderful story and very nice photo. Is her sister bullied by other lions/lionesses?  If so, does her sister come to her aid?

Jerry,
I agree with your wishes, but unlikely to come true
Hisham,
Unfortunately there are no established prides at the moment, but this may soon change as a result of the three brothers returning
Jim,
No bullying at present for reasons mentioned above but I am certain she would defend her sister

What a beautiful look here Ken. She doesn't appear to be too friendly toward you though.

Cool, in-your-face pose.  I would test a subtle brightness/contrast boost to just her eyes...I think that would make her eye contact really commanding.
