Hi Richard,

A grunt common bird, but they look nice when in fresh plumage.  Pose and comp are fine--you may or may not want to clone out the orphaned spine at the bottom left.  Other than that--I like the lighting, BG, and perch too.........................Jim

A rather pugnacious look from an anthropomorphic point of view, Richard, which seems to fit their habits.  Nicely presented.  I like where you placed the focal plane with the foreground perch in nice focus and letting it fade to the rear.

A fine portrait of an often "disliked" bird, Richard.  They do look good as well as being moderately agressive as the pose here suggests.

I really like the lighting on this one.  Nice focal point.  Perhaps the crop is a little tight.  I know that is always a matter of preference.  In any case I'm glad to see that a few of us enjoy taking photos of less exotic birds.
