Blue Poppy #4

There was a relatively small display of blue poppies this year at Longwood. The orchids were gorgeous. This poppy stood out above the rest because of its soft pale color and beautiful flow in the petals. Taken with Canon SX60, F5, ISO 400, 1/60 sec.

Beautiful image! I like the details in the petals, and the subtle color variations. The center seems a bit fuzzy, but then it is a fuzzy center so that works out. :-) I like it best when I back up from it a little bit. Anyway, I think it is gorgeous.

Stunning flower portrait. Love the colors, the yellow dots complimenting the flowing lines and subtle blue/pink hues.

Very eye-catching with beautiful color and nice shape in the petals, Patricia. I especially like the soft lavendar color. There are a few specs here and there plus a small hair or something just above the center of which I personally would clean up to keep this the pristine beauty it is.
