Very mystical approach with the processing. The subtle brightness of the side trunks add some nice depth to the central tree. Very cinematic.

Striking mood Matt. Dramatic mix of warm and cool color. The red leaves add a sense of movement to the scene.

This is absolutely stunning to my eye, Matt. An exquisite image. The reds set against the foggy blues with the hint of detail in the background are simply incredible. The trees to either side act as a vignette to draw and focus the eye on those leaves seemingly suspended in mid air. And that hint of green in the moss makes the image even more beautiful. Love everything about this. And looking at the others in this 'Mystic' series on your website.... superb art.

The large view is much more realistic...
A lot of depth, and just plain gorgeous.
I would tone down a few bright spots in the mid right side.

Beautiful image Matt. IMHO, the blue seems a bit strong, but that's subjective, of course. Overall, this is an incredibly well-crafted image that makes you sit up and take notice. Well seen and executed.

Great atmosphere and composition, Matt. The contrast between warm and cold tones is very effective but IMO I would diminish the blues to make the image more real. Anyway, I like it.

Great moody image. I am finding the blue far too intense for my tastes, but that is very much a personal preference. Nice work!

Hey Matt,
Great to see a post from you here!
This is magical, mystical and wonderful. Yeah, a bit beyond reality, but then as the artist, that's your vision and I think this is unique and beautiful.
I especially like the green moss at the base of the center tree. For me, that little touch of green completes the image. Love it.

Great mix of warm and cool tones, I tend to agree with Bill Chambers that the blue is a bit strong and with another reply stating that the reds in the mid right side are a bit too bright, otherwise it's a great image.

Incredible image, Matt. What I like most about it is this could be taken almost anywhere. Of course, these conditions may only happen in a very few locations. I find it pushing boundaries a bit, and I love that. My only suggestion would be to burn the bottom edge to lead in a bit more gently. Sweet work.

Cinematic is an apt description. Almost has a Steven Spielberg quality to it. It certainly grabs my attention and holds on tight.

Wonderful interpretation of a forest's innards. I particularly like the blue bg in this scene as it which provides most of the mystery and the spirit of the place.
