Along the Valley

This Male Lion appeared from nowhere on the opposite side of Deception Valley, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana. He the walked half way across and proceeded down the valley somewhat near us.

This brings back wonderful memories of the Valley. I wonder if you stayed anywhere near where we camped which was not far from the original Owen research camp. Your colours are gorgeous as is the big boy. We plan to go back some time.

Nice one Ken. I think I like this sort of enviro shot better than the close up big stuff.. More atmosphere for sure.

Nice to know someone else goes there, did you know it was ranked 2nd by CNN in "best Park in Africa" !
We passed the Owen site every day, it would make the perfect campsite
