The Big One

Our rural area, SW of Houston, was socked in by terrible flooding last year (this area has never flooded, since it was settled).   In fact, our house, which is on the high side of the Brazos River saw water which came up to only 9 inches away from entering our home!  We had ducks swimming in our yard and ibis flocks grazing in the shallow water.
Here is a reflection along one of our country roads, the next day.

Well, Lucy, where's the shot of the Ibis grazing in your yard?  enlightened  I like the reflections and the bright background here.  I do wish I could see more of the water.
