Old Wagon and Shed

I liked how the old wagon looked up against the titling shed.  Decided to convert to B&W.

This is really nice John. I like the nostalgic feel to this with the B&W treatment. Nice touch.

Like the subject very much. Would like to know what prompted you to convert to B&W.  As Ed notes B&W does give a nostalgic feel but wondered if that is what prompted you.  There are multiple patterns at work here that add to the image....the wheel spokes, horizontal lines in the wagon and shed and I like the roof line with it'''s weathered edge. Thanks for posting.

I like this too.  The elements certainly belong together and you can't help but wonder what it was like when they were both in better shape and someone cared.  I think you have a really nice comp and the soft light converted beautifully to B&W.  Did you consider trying a strong vignette or sepia-toning this.  Either would seem to enhance the sense of age inherent in the image.
