Rhody

It's Rhododendron week in Florence, Oregon and the wild Rhododendrons along the Oregon coast are in full bloom.

Canon 7d Mark II
Sigma 150-600 mm at 205 (Probably not the best lens for shooting flowers, but I was mainly out looking for birds)
1/1250 at f 5.6
ISO 320
Processed in PS and LR

Thanks for looking, comments and suggestions appreciated.

Allen, I really like the diagonal of this image, and the colors are beautiful.  I also like the buds in the background.

Beautifully composed and very attractive with its high contrast lighting.  These groupings are often very difficult to isolate - I think you've done a great job on these blooms.

Allen, I like the backlighting and the beautiful detail. Nice group and good isolation. I might be tempted to crop a bit from the right side to reduce the dark part.

Well composed. I love the dappled light on the Rhododendrons against the dark BG. Since the light is sharp, pulling in the highlights a little in LR should push the IQ up a bit.
