Nice pose and good natural background. My only suggestion might be to clone out the distrating blade of grass on the perch.

In some ways, this Green Finch looks a little like a female American goldfinch in this image although I realize they're not even the same genus. We don't have these in North America. Good job on getting the whole bird in focus and a nice head turn. The bird stands out nicely in the well framed composition.

Very nice, John. I don't know who came up with color names for birds, but they must have had odd eyes as I don't see a bit of green in this guy. Great head turn.
