Eagle Aggression

A couple juvenile Bald Eagles getting aggressive over some carrion on the tide flats at the Old Town-site, Valdez, Alaska.  Taken early this Spring so the colors are pretty drab but the action was good.
I had been trying to get shots with multiple eagles and wanted all of the eagles in focus so I had a much narrower aperture than I should have or needed for this event but I had no time to adjust when they got into it.

Sony a6500, SE 70-200 f2.8 GM lens @ 95mm (142 mm with crop factor), f/9.0, 1/1000, hand held.

This is wonderful action, Gary, and I like the poses and thw way they create flow through the image.  I agree that the large dof takes away a bit from the image.  You might think about applying just a little bit of blur to the bg, though I think I'd leave the grasses in front of the eagles alone.

BTW.  I'm afraid I don't have any solutions for swallows in flight.  Even with lots of them living in boxes here I still don't have any really good flight shots.  Someone was posting some really nice ones a couple of years ago, but I can't recall his name.
