Beautifully done image, almost looks like it's under water. The yellow orchid blossom stands out nicely with the diffuse background and few leaves. Raindrops are a nice touch here also.

Beautiful colors, great detail, and I do love those water drops on the flower.

Kathy basically already made my intended comment, Wayne: excellent rendition of a unique and beautiful flower; looks almost like this was shot under water due to the uniform and slightly murky looking bg. The underwater look does not look perfectly natural, but nicely complements the subject. Overall, very nice.

I love your rendition of this beautiful flower that marries sharpness and softness together. I love the photo.

Gorgeous, Wayne.  Excellent dof.  I really like the light on it and your control of the yellows.

Hi Wayne,

These are difficult flowers to photograph and often occur in some very unforgiving areas of habitat.  I think you did pretty good with the comp on this one with some vegetation on the left to provide some boundary for the flower. The saturation may need to be tweaked down for the yellow and red channels. Looks pretty bright on my calibrated monitor.  Other than that--Good job getting this one.......................Jim
