Looks like tough light. I'm not certain if LR offers the same tools as PS, but in PS I'd use the Shadow/Highlights Tool (Image -> Adjustments ->) to pull down the highlights a little bit. Good capture, comp and techs. But the water is a bit too bright for my taste.

Nice reflection shot, Peter.  Very good exposure and nice details.  In this case the whole reflection is important so its good that you gave it enough room on the bottom.

A nice look at the Heron in its habitat.  Good capture on the reflection.

Considering what looks like fairly dim light, this is a nice reflection shot Peter, good job including the whole reflection in your comp. devil

I think you did a really good job of processing this one considering that you had overcast lighting conditions.  That affects the reflection more than the actual heron itself.  But it worked itself out in the image is nicely composed.

Really well done, Peter.  I've only seen the LB molt once several years ago but couldn't get decent shots.  Having the whole reflection is a boon.  Well done cool

Very nice, Peter.  I like the pose and the reflection.  Detail in the bird and dof both work well here.  Well done.

A nice job capturing that reflection, Peter. You did a nice job with the detail in the Heron in such low light. I do wish the water was not quite as bright.
