A really cool plant and a very nice composition, Barbara.  Focus and dof look good to me.  While it wouldn't be true to nature, I'd be sorely tempted to remove the extensions of the two horizontal branches that leave the frame and possibly add a touch of canvas on the sides.  A lovely image.

Dennis, I think that's it.  Here's a redo like that.

Barbara.  Lovely photo of an unusual plant. I like the redo even better.

Barbara, you don't say what scale this is. I've seen a Verbena plant similar to this in some profusion around fresh water marshes, but the pedicels are fairly tiny, no more than 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

Hi, Phil.  I'm not sure how to say what scale something is.  I used my macro lens for this.  This is full frame plus now added canvas on the side.  What should I do normally as far as describing the size of a plant?

But the first flower at the top on the left on this site tells the size:

Describing the average size of the visible part of the plant (2 inches for the pedicels) is perfectly adequate. It's not really needed, but helpful when it is a plant with which few are familiar. So this is a little more than double the native Verbena I have seen. Thanks!

This is such a cool candalabra of a plant Barbara. I love those tiny flowers in each of the candles. This is really cool.
