Sorry I haven't been around to comment much lately. I have been trying to get my place in Colorado packed so I can make the move to Arizona later this month.

This is a great action shot with plenty of detail. Love the bright colors on the head and the nice BG. Nice work Kurt. Good luck with your move.

I hope you realize that summer is firmly established here in AZ - our highs at Phoenix have been pushing 110 this week. At least Tucson will be a little cooler.

Extremely tough to get a Tree Swallow in flight with the detail you captured Kurt. But to get it with a feather in it's beak...wow! devil

Superb!!! You caught this at the right moment and I'm pretty impressed with your skills on this one. I typically have 20 or 30 swallows (Violet- greens, tree and barn) flying around my yard every day but they are just too fast for me. Maybe I'll get lucky someday.

I'm very impressed with this shot, Kurt! I've been trying to get a close up flight shot of the Violet Green swallows we have here but so far no luck, or at least nothing as close and detailed as this! The feather is a great bonus also. Now that I've seen that it can be done I can't give up until I get one. devil
