Applauding the Synchronized Swimmers - - One of the many shots I took of the Trumpeter Swans on Robe Lake, Valdez, Alaska.  I got a kick out of this one when I was sifting through the shoot on the computer.  It struck me that it appeared the one Swan was applauding the action of the others, which looked very much like the up-ended synchronized swimmers you see in the Olympic events.

Sony a6500, FE 70-200 f2.8 GM @ 198 mm, ISO-100, f/6.3, 1/2000, hand-held.

Love humor in wildlife shots.  Nice capture.

I had a chuckle looking at this too, because it does look like he is giving them a "wing" clap for their timing and effort.  Too funny.

Very cool, Gary.  I like the title and the action of the swan on the left really fits.  The two right side swans don't seem to fit the concept quite as well and if you have the detail in the image, you might try cropping from the right, top and bottom to include just the three.  I really like the shoreline trees in the bg, so I'd avoid cropping them when you come down from the top.  Sweet image.
