Thats different. Not seen froth like that. Nice light on the bird too. Shows really well in the large one.
Good stuff

What a beautiful capture of this Willet, Matt.  I love the low point of view, and the lighting is sweet.  The foam of the water is just an added bonus to this lovely image.  Your images are an inspiration to me.  cool

A very appealing photo with the background, foam and water movement, and the sharp, detailed look at the Willet.

Hi Matt
Nice low angle and detail.  I like the light kick you got off the foam.

Wow! Everything just comes together in this one, Matt!  The composition, the great light, the exposure, the clarity, the pastel colors in the background and finally the added bonus of the foam wrapped around it's legs and softening the foreground.  It conveys a sense of calmness, peace and pleasure.  Beautiful photo!  You have to view this one large. devil

This is just excellent Matt!  I agree with every positive thing already mentioned.  For me, it is the roiling froth that really makes it!

That's pretty cool, Matt, and the soft light and good exposure are a bonus.  I'm used to photographing them in calm conditions, but this is a refreshing change very well done.
