Never heard Andy Rouse describing a young Elephant in this way, but it is quite apt.
Taken in Samburu National Park, Kenya.

Hi Ken
Not sure what this"unit" stuff means but a nice shot. I know we are not to say "nice shot" but can't think of much else to say .!!
Cute factor 10/10
Cheers
John
PS Was going to  mention  rotation but  presume its walking up a slope ?
Cheers

I'm not inclined to use the word "cute" very often, but it really seems to fit here.  My wife loved this shot, as do I.

Well presented image Ken.  Exudes that young animal vibe!  Very tender, and "small unit" seems an appropriate description.

John,
Just to explain the "unit" , this was a term used by Andy Rouse to describe Elephants, usually as "big Units" I was reminded of it by the use in a recent post, although I have subsequently noticed this title has been changed. I cannot remember if it was walking up a slope or not, but Africa can be generally quite "bumpy"

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments.

"Cute" was the first thing that came to my mind too!  I love it when animals look happy!
