Creek Closeup

A very large crop of late afternoon sunlight reflecting off this Eastern Sierra creek.  I was amazed at the wide array of colors reflected here.  Not sure where all the gold came from.  No special effects here.  Just large crop, fair amount of noise reduction, and some other slight tweaks.  Shot September 2016.  I love nature abstracts.  D800e, 600mm, f11, 1/640, ISO 1000.  C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Molten gold... but too much noise and not so sharp, still a cool abstract, though

Makes for a great abstract, Jim, with the colors and pattern, but I agree with Stephen that the effects of the crop are noticeable in the large version.

Pretty cool Jim.  It does appear a bit soft, perhaps the result of the large crop.  Never the less, mesmerizing.

This is a great abstract, Jim, with it's warm gold colors and a fine collection of swirls.  The bits of blue are a great addition.

Beautiful Jim. It looks like molten gold, just like Stephen said.
