I probably took at least 50 shots of this guy as he kept coming closer and closer to the shore line.

Canon 7D Mark II
Sigma 150-600  at 293 mm
1/1250 at f 7.1
ISO 640

Thanks for looking.  Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

It is like seeing double, Allen!  Very nice capture, and I do love the wonderful reflection of him.

A gorgeous reflection shot, Allen.  The detail is superb.  With the water so still, I think this could use a touch of CW rotation to line the reflection and the bird up vertically.  Excellent job on the exposure.

The detail is superb and you couldn't ask for a more perfect reflection and pose, Allen.  Agree with Dennis that it needs CW rotation.  Since the bird is centered you can rotate and also add canvas RHS using content aware crop, which if you're careful can work quite well.

Allen, about a 5 degree CW rotation will do it. If you use the content aware fill crop on this, it fills in quite nicely , as the water is virtually detail-less. I hesitate to mention it, because west side birds are usually more richly colored than east side birds, but it seems somewhat dark to what I have seen of Greater Yellow legs here in Coastal Georgia. But if this is the way you remember it, I am fine with it. Excellent detail and pose, with the foot lifted and good eye contact!

Here's a re-post with Phil's 5 degrees of CW rotation. Yes, It does look better.  I think I'm a bit dyslexic when it comes to level; I usually don't see it until after the fact.

Nicely exposed and gorgeous reflection Allen. When it comes to reflection images and the possible need for any rotation I look at a prominent appendage of the bird-the tip of the beak, a knee or perhaps the end of the tail feathers and draw a vertical  line down towards that same part reflected in the water. If the parts line up you're good, but if they don't then you need to get the ruler out in LR or Photoshop.

Excellent reflection photo, Allen!  Great detail in the bird and the composition works great for this kind of image.
