I noticed the bug on this Black-Eyed Susan in my flower garden this morning, and was focusing on it, when the bee joined in the picture.  Taken with Canon Mark II, Canon 100mm L lens with 13mm extension tube, using the KX-800 twin flash with my DIY diffuser.  Cropped to maybe 80% (is there a way in Lightroom to tell the crop measurements)?  Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Shirley, a neat look at these two insects on a pretty well eaten Black-Eyed Susan.  The details look great in the larger view.  I don't think I've ever seen a BES with it's ray petals eaten like that...what kind of bugs do you have there in NC?!  enlightened  You can calculate the fractional reduction in LR by going to the Metadata panel when you're in the Library module and looking at the pixel dimensions.  LR gives you the original pixel dimensions and the cropped dimensions.  Yes it would be nice for them to do the calculation and report the number in percent as well as the dimensions.

Nice shot Shirley. Great to catch botht he true bug and the bee together in excellent focus. It looks like the leaf cutter bees are nesting.
