Perfection Reflection

This green slough looked like the perfect fishing hole.  I cropped off the top of the trees and that reflection to remove most of the blue in the photo to fit in with the all green theme.....

It certainly fits the theme. It, however, seems to be tilted to the right and the large, dark spot in the upper left draws attention away from the beautiful water and greenery.

The greens on the hillside and their reflections look great, Lucy, nicely graphic and invitingly real at the same time.  This view creates a fine sense of sitting quietly on a cool spring day beside a pond (I'll bet you wish you could do that right now...).  The greens seems a bit oversaturated to me and I do see the tilt.  It's a fundamental optical principle that a reflection should be directly below it's source.

Looks like a very peaceful and relaxing spot.  As a suggestion, you might consider brightening the dark areas a bit.  Also, it may be my imagination, but the image looks a little tilted.

That's some really serious green, Lucy.  An interesting composition with almost all green and black.  It really brings out the texture.

This is a really nice reflecting pool Lucy. It may be a bit oversaturated, but it is great for the theme this week.
