Zebra Rug?

I had an image in my mind of what I wanted, but it took many attempts shooting various groups of zebras as they moved to the waterhole at Okaukuedgo in Namibia's Etosha National Park.  They would either be too spread out, to mixed up or whatever.  Finally, a group massed together and two heads popped up giving me the image I was seeking.  I then trimmed it from top and bottom to give me a panoramic effect.  Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Canon EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM @ 400mm, manual exposure, f/8, 1/1600th, ISO400.

You captured a great moment! High-contrast B&W would be interesting too.

Fine timing on the group and the two visible heads, Charles.  Love the graphic aspect.

Nice "coverage" here.  No gaps between zebras that I can see beyond the top right corner, which I'm sure is what you wanted.  I like that the central face is visible (though kinda wish the face to the right wasn't to increase the impact).  It's a great pattern and well seen, Charles.

Charles this also works well as an abstract. I can appreciate how difficult it is for a predator to single out an individual as the group appears as one big mass. Your wait certainly paid off. Richard
