Late evening light casts itself across this lupine meadow, which is actually a small, fenced in plot next to the golf course in Sugar Hill, NH.

Gee, this looks familiar. cool The evening light is sublime and the lupines look in peak condition, Mike. I particularly like those couple of red and white flowers in the LRC as they are a nice contrast to the lupines. Also the tree is perfectly placed IMO. Beautifully done, brother.

Michael, what a wonderful eye catching image. The larger version is a must see as it slowly unfolded on my screen. Superb detail throughout and like Ed mentions, the couple of red & white flowers in the LRC really adds without being a distraction in the scene..... laugh

Michael, I like this image a lot, especially the transition from the foreground details in the shadow to the beautiful lighting in the distance. Furthermore, the tree anchors the composition well in my opinion.

Beautifully done, and the range of blues in the large version is extraordinary. I'm undecided about the 2 white flowers in the lower right corner...they distract a bit for me, though apparently not for others. Regardless of that corner, it's a wonderful image.

This is beautiful, Michael.  The light is very inviting and the layers of lupine direct my eye back to the interesting shaped tree.  Nicely done!

The range of colors in those lupines is amazing from sunlight to shadow. Great concept for this image and well composed to bring it out. It's a very special time of day and that's conveyed beautifully. I didn't notice the flowers in lrc until Kathy brought it up but now I agree that they're an unwanted eye magnet. They're just too bright to be in a corner like that.

Lovely scene and really well composed to make so many different things work well together. The light adds a nice touch of cheer making the photograph special.
