Sunflower

I really liked the colors in this sunflower.  I took this using my Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 100mm L macro lens with KX-800 twin flash and DIY diffuser.  Settings were f16, 1/125, ISO 200.  I cropped it to square to 52% of full frame.  Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Good treatment to go square with this Shirley. I like the burnt oranges and the DOF is right on.

Hi Shirley,

The square crop works perfectly with this subject.  Also nice detail throughout image and what little background that is present does not take anything away from the subject. Well done.......................Jim

Hi Shirley,
The large version of this is truly wonderful.  I like the square crop, and interestingly, what makes this image for me is the fact that the specimen you chose is not perfectly symmetrical.  I like the slight awobble center and the gaps in the petals.  Very nice indeed.
