Really cool image,Ronald. The young ferns add a lot of interests and make the photo pop. Everything looks very crisp and sharp so the blend worked fine.

Great image, love the composition, for me it also works with a crop from the top, just below the stump. I would have taken the brown and the green leave and some little twigs away, to emphasize the lines of the roots and the ferns even more, still you could clone them out, I am ok with that as well. This image will make a great print, wish it was mine.

This is lovely Ronald.  You did a great job with isolating interesting curves, and the pop of ferns really sets it off.  Kudos on this one.

Indeed, crisp and clear. Nice lines. I am in for a slight crop at the top, that would make it more abstract. Even an almost square crop would possibly also work, emphasizing the 'X'. The fresh green of the ferns and the soft gray of the roots combine very well.

This is one of those images that a lot of us would walk right past and never see. I think this is well seen and photographed. Nice eye.

Nicely done, Ronald.  I think I agree with Igor's crop suggestion.  I would go more abstract with this one.
