Village of Loen, Norway

Gallery: Man & NaturePosted August 20, 2017401 views5 comments
Taken during a recent tour of Scandinavia on a rainy day which suddenly cleared long enough for a few rays of sun to light up this quaint, typical village in the beautiful country of Norway. Your comments and critique are always welcomed and needed.  -Dave

Dave,

I like this very serene scene. I do think you dial back the blues and cyans some, though. The village has a wonderful appeal, and the reflection looks nice, too.

Just a note: Since there is 'hand-of-man' in the image, it really belongs in the Man and Nature Gallery.

I'll have to second Preston's thoughts, Dave. Nicely done.

Very beautiful image taken under very photogenic conditions, Dave. I like it a lot. I do agree it belongs in M&N.

Great scene.  Familiar too.  Our daughter is going to school at Lund in southern Sweden, so my wife and I flew out to visit her in June.  We rented a car, picked up our daughter, and spent 3 weeks driving around Sweden and Norway.  We drove through the nearby town of Stryn on June 10th, while traveling from Vaga to Hellesylt.  It was an amazing drive and great trip.  Nicely done.
