It's definitely easier to appreciate this at the larger size.  I like the almost monochrome blue-ness of the image and the expanse of the clouds.  The darkening of the sky behind the sailboat sure make me think about what the boat is sailing into, although it does seem a little small in the frame to my eyes.

I think the smallness of the boat really emphasizes  the danger and isolation in the face of the coming storm. I think it works well.
