Excellent image. It appears that mum has a recently injured eye or eye lid. If so, perhaps while defending her cubs?

Great setting & wonderful expressions from the cub !
I just wish that other cub too was cooperative and mother had a better head turn.

Beautiful family moment Ken. I like the light the detail and the setting. Looks like mum has a nasty scar over her eye. I would suggest perhaps cloning out the OOF stems on the LRC? Tough with mum's tail in there.

We think the injury was caused when she killed a large male warthog, whih we spied in the cave early one morning, quite how she did this on three legs is beyond our imagination! The cubs looked after Mum by regularly washing the cut.
