This is the same Great Egret I photographed in the last posting on a very overcast day at the Back River in Old Lyme, Ct.  The background is a muddy hill and the shot was taken at low tide.
I used a mono pole and cropped the shot by 30% into a 16 by 9..  I also adjusted the contrast, highlights, clarity and saturation in Lightroom.
Camera Model  Canon EOS 7D Mark II,  Shooting Date/Time  08/12/17 06:48:29
Shooting Mode  Aperture-Priority AE,  Tv(Shutter Speed)  1/400
Av(Aperture Value) 8.0,  Metering Mode  Evaluative Metering
Exposure Compensation  -1,  ISO Speed  1250
Lens  TAMRON SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD A011,  Focal Length  552.0mm
Image Quality RAW.
Thank you for stopping by.

Another very nice reflection shot, Peter.  I think the brightness could come up on this one.

Well done, Peter. This is a more appealing pose than the other. The form of the bird and reflection better match the aspect of a panoramic.
