Fishing Shack/repost

This is on the road to Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge, which is most definitely rural.  This is all water with the reeds and grasses growing in it, so I'm pretty sure this is a fishing shack.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Interesting image Barbara, I think it would be a place I would visit if in the area.  There seems to be a bit of a magenta cast to the image, at least on my monitor.  Also, I suggest you look at reducing the amount of FG reeds, maybe even a pano format.  Overall a nice image.  Thanks for sharing.

A very pleasing scene, Barbara.  Looks like a nice place to spend a day with a fishing pole.  I agree with John on both counts.  It definitely appears to have a magenta cast and I think it would be better balanced if you cropped about 20% - 25% off the bottom.

This looks like Florida, Barbara, with wide grass and reed fields and meandering open water.  The structure looks like a great spot to launch a canoe/kayak and go exploring.

Pretty classy fishing shack if you ask me, Barbara. Now this is Southern living indeed, and well composed to accentuate the FG marsh grass. Looks like a fine place to explore by canoe. Edit: Oops, I see Mark covered that.

I like the extensive foreground grasses and how they repeat past the pool, Barbara.  The shack is placed very nicely with respect to the pool.

Nicely composed.  I like the contrasting green and red grasses.  The trees make for a good background.  Looks as if you had some nice light.

Thank you, everyone.  Allen, the light was so, so beautiful.  It was very late afternoon when I was leaving that I saw this.

For those of you who think there's a magenta cast, here's a repost with the magenta decreased and green increased by only 2 points.  Making a bigger change took away all of the red in the grass, and that was definitely there.  Anyone who sees this, please let me know what you think.  Thanks!

(Note that the sky is pink because it was pink because of the sun setting.)

I agree with Dennis about liking the extensive grasses in the foreground. Their texture is beautiful and the color is repeated in the layer of grasses just in front of the trees. Nice that the roof of the shack is red; it makes the shack stand out from the rest, and then of course there's that slight touch of red in the flag. Looks like quite an attractive place.

Looks peaceful. The reflection of the building on the water is a nice bonus. I like the little punch to the green reeds on the water that your repost added. I am in the tighter crop crowd, but just a little of the reeds.

Nice landscape...you might increase the contrast a bit...that would both show off the clouds and the reflection of the shack in the water.  And, I agree about cropping off a good bit of the bottom.
