On Thompson Pass, Alaska, looking down the mountain toward Keystone Canyon and Valdez, Alaska.  It was the dynamic weather that made me stop and take this 4 vertical frame panorama.

Sony a6300, SE1670Z @ 16 mm, ISO-100, F16, 1/50, 4 vertical hand held frames stitched  with AutoPanoGiga.

This is a great landscape, Gary, with lots of colors and the diagonal line of the road leading into that very interesting collection of mountains and cloud in the distance.  The mix of low and high clouds is a fine touch, makes it easy to see why you stopped for a picture.

I would have stopped also!  This needs to be seen large.  Another one that makes me want to be there.  TFS.

Awesome sky, Gary.  I can see why you'd stop.  I like the way you used the road and the foreground rock.

A dynamic sky with nice foreground colors.  The perspective makes me feel as if you were on the top of the world.

Gary, the weather makes this scene for me. The ominous look to the scene is a result of that strong storm front overhead. As a result the entire landscape has benefited with excellent light enhancing some of the colorful terrain. Looking at the road only makes one want to travel around the corner there to see what is back there......very nice.
