Wallowa Sunrise

This was taken about 1/2 mile west of Wallowa Lake soon after sunrise one week ago.  We were incredibly lucky.  Most of Oregon was covered in smoke from numerous forest fires and when we arrived on Friday afternoon these mountains could barely be made out due to the smoke.  The next day the skies were clear and remained so for the rest of our trip.

This is a 4 shot vertical pano taken on a tripod and stitched in Lightroom.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Great lines. I like how the shadow/green triangle ends in the red building.

Nice pano, allen!  It has good detail throughout and the corrals make for an interesting foreground.  The farm buildings in between the corrals and the mountains help give it some depth which is often lacking in panos with all horizontal elements.  I'm not sure the fences are actually that blue or simply a result of the shaded light in the foreground but it does add some extra color to the scene.

Looks like there's going to be a lot of panoramas in this challenge!

Allen, the series of parallel color patches looks great, with the blue sky reflected off the fence adding some extra interest as well as  intrigue in the foreground.  The shadowed foreground to nicely lit mountain and blue sky creates a strong sense of depth.  Going pano to get the whole mountain in was a good idea.

I thought this was Colorado at first!  I like all of the layers this image contains.  Does need to be viewed large for the best results.
Thanks for Shairng.

A neat pano take here, Allen. This turned out to a very good POV from this location too. Interesting to see all those cyan colored fence panels too. The rest of the area does not contain that color so the panels just have that aged colorful look to them overall.
I might crop up ever so slightly at the bottom here to eliminate the LLC diagonal fence there, but definitely not a big deal either way.

Nice, Allen.  It was pretty smoky here on the west side about that time.  I like the composition for the most part, but wish you could have included a little more on the left.  The chopped off cliff kind of leaves one hanging.
