This was taken in a bluebonnet field a couple of years ago.  I caught this interesting character painting and decided to include him in my photo.  You can see the shed, which is out of view, that he is painting, while standing under such a magnificent tree surrounded by wildflowers.  I love his hat and the way his head is cocked to take in the scene.

That's pretty nice, Lucy!  Good idea to take advantage of the human element instead of just concentrating on the flowers.  That spreading tree makes a wonderful frame for the painter.

The color combinations in this view are great, Lucy.  The nice sturdy tree trunks and that fine branch arching over the painter's head are great additions.  The painter emphasizes the sense of this being a beautiful day.

Lucy, this is a wonderful multi-art scene with the use of photography and the inclusion of the painter here too. The lovely bluebonnets and the stout trees are excellent supporting characters to this image.
I could see a bit of work using TK's actions to address some of the highlights, but the bright day works well here, so just minor tweaks.

Excellent portrait landscape, Lucy!  The Bluebonnets are beautiful and artist really sets a peaceful and pleasant mood.  Very nicely composed also.

Standing in a field of flowers looking at a shed.  Go figure.  A very nice pastoral image, Lucy, and the artist adds a neat touch of quirkiness.
