The weather report sounded good for low clouds and high clouds at the same time, so I got up at 3:30 AM today to climb to this overlook in time to beat sunrise by an hour. The lights coming on in the Village of Bolton Landing (lower right in the image) provided a nice extra touch.</div>

Yes, Wayne, the village lights are a fine addition that are also nicely disguised by by the trees. That lets the lights add to the story without being a major player. The sunrise is lovely and I especially enjoy the reflections and the wind driven textures in the lake.

A gorgeous sunset landscape, Wayne! The best thing about it for me is that the light levels and contrast appear very natural and you can still make out details in the foreground dark areas. The low fog against the mountains is a very nice bonus also as are the town lights.
