Sunrise on Bolivar

This picture was taken on Bolivar Peninsula in Texas. The fog was lifting giving rise to a beautiful day. Early morning fog had a etheric effect on the lighting so I decided to accentuate it and go for a watercolor effect by softening the image a bit

It's a fine take presenting what looks to be a lovely, quiet ocean front sunrise, Ry.  I can heard the gulls calling.

Beautiful pastel colors here Ry. It feels a bit slanted to the right in the frame to me.

Fog does wonders for images, no exception here. Like the hint of sun blasting out behind the cloud.  Not quite sure you chose the f18 for this kind of image, as DOF doesn't seem to be an issue.  Was this handheld?

Ry,

Beautiful colors in this lovely coastal sunrise image.  What I can't figure out and not sure if this is distracting my view, but it's the two diagonals.  I get the long one where all the birds are lined up, but can't figure out what the other dark line is extending in to the ocean on the left?  Is it a jetty or something?  Not a big deal really, just not sure what I'm looking at.  But that is much less important than the wonderful colors and overall scene you've captured.
