Reversed Impression

I appreciated your comments on my previous image, thank you.
This was taken yesterday during a hike in a natural area in the Alps. To convey an impressionist feeling I used the reflection of the mountains and I turned the image upside down.
As always comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

This is quite the view, Mattia.  It's both nicely dramatic and disconcerting with what, at first glance, looks to be strange spots scattered throughout a fine mountain view.  Eventually realizing that it's a reflection, makes it a fun story.  The clarity of the reflection is astonishing.  Turning it upside down like this does a great job of grabbing the viewer's attention.

I really like the thought here, Mattia.  My suggestion would be to convert this to b/w.  The abstraction of the upside down reflection would come to life without the color.  Of course, I see most things in B/W sad.

I took a couple of tree photos this way today!  Wish I were in the Alps though!  The ice flecks give a nice clue to the viewer.  There seem to be some dark areas in the sky, though maybe from a polarizer but doesn't seem to be the pattern it would create.  Sort of vertical band of dark and light?  Interesting and thoughtful image .

Mattia,

Kudos to your recognizing the value of flipping this reflection.  This works wonderfully!  I like doing this as well, but it doesn't always work... This one absolutely does.  I really like how the stuff floating in the water behave as clouds.  This is just cool.  Great job!
