Black is Beautiful

The black bears in the Great Bear Rainforest are beautiful also. I actually found the black bears more difficult to expose properly than the white bears. When a black bear is standing in white rapids, it is extremely difficult. Luckily, this bear had a more uniform background, which made it easier.  Interesting note, at least for me. I never noticed the small bugs flying around the bears when I was in the field. It was only after I started processing the images, that I noticed them. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Wonderful pose and great perch, surrounded by water!
It has many bright highlights in the BG, competing for attention, especially white one near LHS border in the middle.
Secondly, the Bear seems to be looking at the animated bird along with your name.

Beautiful shot of the bear! I agree With Jagdeep , especially on the bright OOF spot near the LHS. I would make it go away. Second, I would move your logo to the RHS behind the bear. Third, I would selectively brighten the midtones of the BG, which would help make the bear stand out a bit better.

I love the comp and pose of the bear, isolated on a rock, surrounded by water.

Excellent Jerry.  I like all, other than I would clone away the bright white spot on left side of frame.

Thanks for all the comments. I removed a few of the more obvious background spots.

It's a fine pose you've caught here, Jerry.  The larger shows the dark tones and the details very well.  The repost is nicely improved, without the bright oof highlights in the background.
