This is a really fine composition. I particularly like the open space with the young pines scattered about and the brush around the meadow. For my taste there is a lack of color diversity as everything seems to be different shades of yellow. I would cool the entire image below the top of the tree line and then selectively saturate the yellows and oranges. I might add contrast to the meadow area as well. I might also crop down to remove the background mountain as it seem to be the weakest element in image, although that changes the image quite a bit.

Actually having it all in shades of yellow does look pretty stylish. It's just a personal choice. The grey cliffs in the back really don't fit well with the all yellow motif. But the green trees do.

Very well composed image, Harley. I especially like the quality of the details in the large version.

Simply Gorgeous Harley!  Wow, the apparent frost in the meadow grasses and willows is just a beautiful touch.  The rolling line of aspen is somewhat unique and you've handled the granite slope nicely as well.  The meadow itself has a painterly look - almost like an etching - or something other than a straight impression.

Looks like this could be the big meadow in Lee Vining Canyon, but I suspect not.  Doesn't matter.

Love this one a LOT!  I can't see how this could be improved.

I think this is wonderful. The soft yellows backed up by the granite and the greens work very well. The composition is and processing are spot-on.

I do not believe this should be cropped, but just as an afterthought, you might consider burning down the background granite just a bit.

Very nice image, sir!

I love the low key golden earth tones here Harley.  Nice layering to of the grass, trees, and rock.

The comp is nicely balanced and the mix of tans and oranges is pleasing. A suggestion may be to select the granite and reduce its brightness some.

This is beautiful, Harley!  I like the contrast of the Aspen against the granite (?) in the background.  I also like the way that the Aspen form a triangle in the composition.  The small pine trees and the foreground sage add to the beautiful color palette.

Harley, this is a really great composition. I love the shape the treetops make, it reminds me of a small wave that is soon to break. I very much like the majority of the frame being yellow and brown tones, set off against the cooler neutrals of the cliff.

I also agree with some that the background cliff could use some darkening, and I feel like the foreground grasses could be darkened just a touch as well.

Fantastic, Harley.  Love the rolling lines of the aspens against the rock, the layer of brush and the layer of grasses, all composed in such an eloquent manner.  One exquisite image in my opinion.

This is a beauty, Harley. Very well composed, wonderful textures and warm tones. I could see burning down the granite a touch but otherwise processing looks spot-on.
