Very pleasing scene, Harley. Nice job controlling the whites and an excellent mix of evergreens with the fall foliage. This is a good example of an overall image being much more than just the sum of its parts. Nicely done.

Another great photograph from your Eastern Sierra trip Harley!I love the flow disappearing back into the golds and greens. The flowing water along the very bottom makes a great lead-in to the frame, and that curling wave just above it has great texture. I also like the alternating of green and gold in the trees, which allows for greater separation of the individual trees.

There are a couple small things that I think may improve this a bit. First, a little bit of balancing of the luminosity. The right half appears a bit bright to my eye, and the left maybe a bit dark. The other thing is I'd like a little more texture in the mid-ground river, from the rock in the stream at right, up to the double rocks further back. I don't know if darkening this section a bit would do the trick, but that area pulls my eye a bit, and is also the least interesting part of the frame.

Just another run-of-the-mill Eastern Sierra autumn classic.  enlightened  A classic beauty for sure.  Processing/color look good to me.  I like the viewpoint and how the stream pulls the eye in to and through the frame.  I really like the fan-out effect of the water at the very bottom - in fact I wish there was just a bit more! But I suspect that's the bottom of your frame; and that doesn't change the good impression I have of the image.

The only nit/suggestion I have would be to burn down the tops of the boulders in the LR quadrant. That's fairly minor.

Gorgeous view here, Harley. This is that eastern sierra autumn view that is as good as it gets. The only change for me as already being mentioned is toning down the highlights wherever they appear to be a bit hot.
Very nicely done with a solid horizontal view here.......laugh

This a very classic nature beauty. It's the type of composition from the old 19th century master oil painters. I like the left side of the river for tonality and the right side for the sense of distance it provides. The light is really gentle and that helps a lot. Very fine image, Harley. Thanks for sharing.

Harley, you have a nice image and the creek carries the viewer into it nicely.  Suggestion mey be to reduce the brightness of the creek and the granite and aspen bole on the right. Saturation of the yellows looks good.

Classic...
Timeless look at nature.
I would take a bit of blue out of the whites....

Outstanding autumn image, Harley.  I like how you have centered the stream amongst the fall color and how it disappears into the distance.  Nice.

This is a beautiful scene, Harley.  The composition works for me as the stream is a great focal point in the center of the frame, while the fall color fills out the frame.  The shutter speed looks good to capture the movement of the stream while still retaining texture.

It's a lovely fall scene, Harley.  The stream leads through the trees very nicely.  Those bright boulders on the right about 1/3 up from the bottom do stand out, a bit of dodging there would be good.

Harley, This is one beautiful scene and the larger version is a treat to view. I could see toning down the brighter areas on top of the boulders on the right as Lon mentioned, but in the larger version I just love it. cool

Another classic Sierra scene.  I like the granite foreground and metamorphic rock on the far ridge.

This just screams Sierra Nevada Harley.  I love the granite boulders in the LRC, the bright, but not oversaturated fall colors in the upper half of the frame, all brought together by the cascading creek.  Beautiful vision.
