Interesting use of handheld at 1.3 seconds. I'll be out there in a few weeks, so I should try some stuff like this. For me I'd crop some of the top. Just curious, was this in the crane pools area?

Bill, this was at the "Flight Deck" area. I know you've been to Bosque before, but get a current map from from the entry booth, and check the gift shop outside the entrance to see if they have any updates on where stuff is this yea. some areas have been closed the last few years.
Artie Morris usually has a good review of current Bosque conditions on his website, (Birds as Art) http://www.birdsasart.com/
as he is always in communication with the people there, and always goes at Thanksgiving.
Good luck when you go.

Pleasing blur, Sandy! And I love the gradations in colour in the bg.

A very nice blur, Sandy, and some nice morning light to make for a sweet bg. Lovely image.

Nice bird abstract. I like the colored layers of the sky. Thanks for the info on Art's website.

Sandy this is very nice, forces my imagination to take over. I can hear birds and see lots of movement in my minds eye. The colors are what made me stop and take a look soft focus with colors that go from dark to like. If you did not put this in the Avian gallery I might think it was something else could be many things. The key here is imagination.
