Two eagles had just landed and started squabbling over a salmon carcass.  Meanwhile another opportunist eagle swooped in and flew off with the contested prize!   An extremely difficult shot as it was directly into the light which made for severe shadows and the reflections off the water were very bright.  It took a significant curves adjustment and some noise reduction but the action helps make up for it .

What a great shot.  The detail is superb.  I like the splashing water.  Lot of action here.  Excellent!devil

Wow great image, nice balance with the birds. One can see the movement in the water yet you stopped the action well.

Nice job on the processing, Gary.  I was going to say that it looks a bit oversharpened, but I think that's from the lighting.  Excellent dof to get it all.

Great action image!  Must be viewed large to see all of the great details.  Whatever you did in processing worked very well, but a good eye to see and capture this action!  Thanks for sharing.
