Daniel,

I really love the soft, warm, atmospheric feel to this scene.  The softness of the fog  transforms this into a magical moment in nature, and your image does a great job of capturing that.

however, I think the leaves in the upper left corner are not adding enough to the scene to warrant inclusion. The stars in this scene are the fog, rocks and the tree to the right. But the leaves to the left keep pulling my eye away from them. I would crop the left side leaves out completely while maintaining as much of the fog and river as possible (ideally retaining most of the small rivulets in the lower left). This might involve cloning the leaves away if you are into that sort of thing, or a judicious crop.

I like this a lot, soft and inviting.
I only want to see a larger version....

Daniel,

Definitely a larger version would be nice, but I can enjoy this one and it's impact as presented.

I'm a sucker for overhanging leaves and this one works beautifully.  the back lighting on the big leaf maple(?) have a nice glow which is amplified by the overall foggy atmosphere.

The image has nice depth by including the upstream and the water flows nicely all the way through.  As far as the branches in the upper left, I'm torn.  But I think there is just enough included that I think leaving as is works for me.  Of course an alternate if you were to crop would be that you would have to crop significantly to change the focus entirely to the right half of the image; but then you lose the depth of the river and the foggy bg.  So I like this as presented.

Terrific autumn mood to this one.  thanks for posting!

The soft glow of the mist and the long shutter speed go well together to set the mood for this. Very inviting.

Stellar image for sure! My preference would be remove the branches from the upper left. Also, my personal preference is to have water look cooler by some selective color balance adjustments. Regardless, a sweet image as is!

Daniel, the atmosphere in this is lovely, as is the lighting on those yellow leaves. Personally, I like the leaves upper left. With the bg being the lightest area of the image, I feel like those leaves stop my eye from going out of the image there.

I don't know what you cropped to get to this aspect ratio, but something about the crop isn't working for me, specifically in both lower corners. However, not know ing what was there makes it difficult to offer a suggestion.
