I was in Death Valley last week and took a drive down Titus Canyon. This is the corrugated wall of one of the buildings at the abandoned Leadfield mine. The strangest stuff attracts my attention.

A touch of the abstract expressionist here, Harley ! This way up it has a hint of a picket fence, sideways of a flag. I think either works nicely.

Harley, a real wild find here......
A keen advantage of using digital for scenes such as this. If they don't fly it's a no harm no foul issue. Film, not so flexible for those roving takes......
Almost looks like a black outline of Che Guevara image that was then covered over by the white stripes or corrosion there. Maybe imported from South America or Cuba or something......

Harley,
Cool find! Hard to tell it's corrugated, but the right edge gives us a little hint in the large view.
Kind of along the lines of Paul's comments - could be some cryptic gang markings.... who knows. Fascinating regardless!

Harley: and here I thought you had taken a photo of a Jackson Pollack painting. It's a very cool abstract. Well seen. Richard

Nice detail and an interesting design. I love images like this, and also like that there are an odd number of light and dark areas. Nice find, Harley.
