These old abandoned shacks are near the Walker Pass on the far South end of the Sierra Nevada range in California. The trees seemed to be in a condition somewhat like the old shacks. Canon 60D, f16, 1/30 sec, iso 100, -1 EV, 24-105 ISL at 105 mm, beanbag on fence post. About 85% of original.

Cool old buildings. I might give a content aware fill a try on the bush lower left?  Neat portrayal of the spot. I

Ed, you've nailed the color here. Obviously the main subject of the buildings is the interest overall, but the color of the foliage looks spot on to me. I like the old "leaner" building. Looks like one to stay out of during any wind never mind a quake of any sort......sad

Nice old shacks. I haven't been over Walker in many years, but always liked the area. I do see a magenta cast. I also agree about the bush on the lower left. Nice color in the buildings and the sage.

I finally got home long enough to work on the edits for this one based on your comments.  Thank you for taking the time to give me positive and helpful insights and ideas. I cloned out the tree in the lower left corner and tried to tame the magenta hues a bit more. Hope this is better.
