Eagles were plentiful during the herring spawn in Alaska this past April. This one was coming in for a landing and I liked how it had positioned itself (with flaps and landing gear down) prior to landing. Nikon D 500 and 80-400 lens at 1/2000, f/6.3 and ISO 320. Richard

Good job in catching this eagle with the talons outstretched coming in for a landing. I've always liked this view. Good detail and the Eagle appears to have some attitude in its expression.

Nice eagle image Richard. I love how those wings look almost distorted during its necessary adjustments for landing. Also like the inclusion of the background habitat.
