Strutting GBH & Repost

I liked the pose and back lighting on this bird.  There were millions of bugs (mosquitoes?) around this guy, and though I did clone out a couple of million that were in front of the GBH, I only got a few hundred thousand of the rest sad.  D500, 150-600 @ 600, 1/800, f7.1, ISO 1600.  Any comments will be appreciated.  I realize the bird is probably too blue, but I do have a less blue copy in the wings.

I also like the pose and the backlighting on the bird.  You could mask the bird and decrease the blue saturation on the bird itself and brighten the body of the bird.  From the standpoint of composition, the image works well.

The repost with less blue is better IMO and more natural.
