My Husband's Shadow

When we mow our 5 acres, we always have an opportunists (usually a flock of cattle egrets) plucking up the grasshoppers, as the grass gets lowered.  One day, this beautiful red tailed hawk followed the riding mower for hours...giving me tons of time to take some amazing photos!  He shadowed my husband's every move on the mower very closely! frown  He was so intent, that there was no fear of my camera and me...shadowing him/her!

Here's my first post...a beautiful portrait of his regal face.

Excellent, Lucy.  Very good image quality.  I've seen them following farmers, but rarely for a mere 5 acres of rodents.

A very nice portrait of this beautiful raptor. You were very lucky to get so much time with the bird. No nits here.

Wow Lucy. Very nice portrait here. Great light and detail. I would like to see a bit more room at the top if you had it.
