This pretty water lily is such a pretty soft pink.  Hope you like it.

I'll take your word that this is pink. My monitor has suddenly turned B/W, and I haven't been able to reestablish the color. The image looks very good in B/W; probably much nicer in color.

The border color on my calibrated monitor is Pantone 674C, which is a dark pink, shading toward magenta. Jim, you might want to check the driver on your graphics card. Lucy, this is very pretty, a beautiful water lily with a dark and mysterious reflection. The mystery lump to the right of the lily is not unattractive, but it is a bit distracting.wink

Lucy, I do like it very much, the reflection, the colors and the water.

Hi Phil, the mystery lump is an old stem, whose top has worn to a rounded shape.  I kindof liked the "flow" from the flower to the old stem and right through the circular ripples to the "waves".   I kept the stem, because it seemed to force one to look at the whole photo in a circular motion back to the flower's stem and pretty colors.

Jim...so sorry your monitor is messing up.  Computer problems are the worst! cheeky

Lucy: This is exceptionally well done IMO. I kind of like the truncated stem and the water tension around it. The main subject is superbly rendered and the reflection is icing on the cake. 2 thumbs up! >=))>

Jim Zablotney solved my monitor problem (windows key + Ctrl + C  toggles between B/W and color. I must have inadvertently hit those keys). Now I see the beautiful pink. It is really outstanding.

A real beauty Lucy!  Colors and reflection in the water are splendid. In the image there is so much magenta color that I would avoid the frame, but it is just me. I love the photo.

I framed it in the pink, because my 6 yr. old granddaughter's room is painted that color...LOL  sad   so, the frame was for her!
