I took the dog out for a walk this evening and of course, took my camera. I liked these apples against the fading sunset.

Cloned out some branches on the right side and some background trees on the left for a cleanner comp

A clean and pure scene, supported by a clean and pure composition.

This is really nice, Michelle. The pale, clear sky complements the snowy earth and bare branches. Crisp and clean - like a good apple!

Sweet and simple. With nice soft light. I like it.

For some reason this feels sad and lonely to me. I'm really not a cold weather person.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I was walking by and did a double-take and came back for this. I have walked by here so often and never saw how the trees lined up before.

I also can't believe I shot this handheld at 1/30 and aperature of 5.6! I didn't expect it to come out without shake. I used the 2 second timer and used the same breathing method as firing a rifle.

It feels like the trees are marching over the hill! It has a really interesting dynamic to it.
