My catch

I was waiting for something to happen while sitting next to an old dead cottonwood tree when a Osprey landed with a fresh catch.   He preened himself for a while, spread his wings as if enjoying a good stretch & then he got down to some serious eating!
All feedback is appreciated  I have reposted this image to take advantage of Dennis's comments

You caught a really nice pose here, Ry, and the fish is a nice bonus.  There is a pale halo around the bird and the perch which usually indicates some kind of processing issue.  If you could give some detail on the processing steps you followed, we might be able to isolate the cause.

Nice capture, but it looks like you underexposed the image then used the Shadow/Highlight tool to bring it back out of the shadows, which in turn has giving that halo effect around the subject!

As said its a nice capture though!

Cool landing shot Ry, and you did a nice job recovering the image and reducing the haloing in your repost.
